What Does it Mean to Walk with God?

In the Bible it is read numerous times people who are said to walk with God. 

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God - Genesis 6:9. This might sound a little bit daunting; we are all born sinners but yet Noah was considered blameless and walked with God? How is this possible? Interpreting "walk with God" symbolically, what does that mean?

In the Bible, walking often represents a state of mind instead of the physical act of walking. In these types of verses, walking can be interpreted as loving God, understanding Him, and trying to live in His image.

Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. -Proverbs 13:20

In order to walk with God, we must live in God's image, align our lives with His teachings, and constantly seek His wisdom. 

God is always working on us as we work toward Him. This is how we walk in the right path to get to heaven!
